Android 12 is the Operating System for your Smartphone F31.

Introduction

Thanks for choosing F317, a Dual SIM Android 4G smartphone based on a 1.3GHz Quad Core Processor. This smartphone is running on Android 12 OS. If you’d like your phone to have a long and fruitful life, please read this guide carefully and keep it for future reference. You never know when you might need it.

And don’t worry if the pictures we use to demonstrate your phone’s functions look a little different from what you see on its screen. It’s the functions that matter.

Safety Precautions

Please read through the following briefings carefully and act in accordance with these rules to prevent any danger or violation of the law.

Use a cell phone when the signal strength is good. Keep your calls short or instead use a headset or send a text message. This advice applies especially to children, adolescents, and pregnant women.

Phone Functions

Hang Up

  1. Press this button to return home from any application or interface.
  2. When the screen is off, short press it to turn on the screen, and short press it to turn off the screen when on the homepage.
  3. You can press it to reject a call or hang up during an incoming call or active call.
  4. Long press it to open the phone’s menu, then you can choose to restart the phone or turn it off.

Menu

  1. In some application interfaces, you can click on it to bring up the application menu.
  2. In the application interface that supports the mouse, you can control whether to use the mouse function by long pressing it, provided that you have enabled the mouse function of the application in Settings -> System -> Mouse control.
  3. In the third-party application interface, and the mouse mode is used, you can switch between the mouse mode or the wheel mode by pressing it.

Up

  1. When using mouse mode, you can move the mouse position by short-pressing or long-pressing it.
  2. When the mouse mode is turned off, you can move the cursor position by short-pressing or long-pressing it.

Down

  1. When using mouse mode, you can move the mouse position by short-pressing or long-pressing it.
  2. When the mouse mode is turned off, you can move the cursor position by short-pressing or long-pressing it.
  3. When on the homepage, you can bring up the notification bar by long pressing it.

Left

When using mouse mode, you can move the mouse position by short-pressing or long-pressing it.

When the mouse mode is turned off, you can move the cursor position by short-pressing or long-pressing it.

Right

When using mouse mode, you can move the mouse position by short-pressing or long-pressing it.

When the mouse mode is turned off, you can move the cursor position by short-pressing or long-pressing it.

OK

The cursor selects the menu or the mouse selects the menu, and you can click OK to confirm. When the confirmation menu is not displayed, you can also click OK to confirm.

Numeric Keyboard (0~9, *, #)

You can enter characters through the numeric keyboard in the editing interface or the dial interface.

You can quickly enter the dial pad through the numeric keyboard on the homepage.

Some characters (for example: 0, *, #) have special usage in some scenes, please continue to check this description for detailed usage.

Shortcut Keys

  1. Calculator key: You can directly access the calculator through the calculator button.
  2. Handsfree key: Clicking the handsfree button during a call will initiate the call through the speaker.
  3. Mute key: Clicking the mute button during a call will turn off the mic.

Charging the Battery

The rechargeable Li-ion battery that comes with your phone is ready to use but is not fully charged. It is easy to charge and can be done in 3 simple steps below:

  1. Connect the charger to your phone and plug it into a socket.
  2. The battery in the corner of the screen will display charging.
  3. When fully charged, disconnect the charger from your mobile and unplug.

Power ON/OFF

Long press the hang-up key to power ON/OFF the phone.

When you turn your phone on, it will automatically check the SIM and show the following information on the screen:

Input SIM PIN: If you’ve set a PIN for your SIM.

Note: The PIN is supplied with your SIM. Please replace it with your own PIN code as soon as possible. Enter the wrong PIN three times, and your SIM will be locked. Then you’ll need to contact your network service provider to ask for a PUK code to unlock it.

Menu Navigation

Enter Main Menu

After powering on and unlocking the screen, the main menu is displayed by default, and all your apps will be displayed here.

Enter Sub Menu

Once at the main menu, click the icon to select the submenu, press the Back Key to return to the previous menu, and press the Home Screen to return to the home screen.

Use Notification Panel

As a new notification appears in the notification area, long press the down button to view the notifications. If you are using the mouse function, you can move the mouse to the top of the screen and click the status bar to view the notifications.

Adjust the Volume

  1. We can adjust the volume of each type through Settings -> Sound.
  2. In the interface of playing video or music, we can use the long press “*” key to decrease the media volume, and the long press “#” key to increase the media volume.
  3. In the call interface, we can use the long press “*” key to lower the call volume, and the long press “#” key to increase the call volume.

Sometimes, we may need to capture some information on the screen. At this time, we can press the “™” key and the “#” key at the same time to achieve this.

Input

In the editing interface, you can enter characters by pressing the numeric keyboard.

  1. Short press the # key, you can call the special character panel and select special characters to input.
  2. Long press the # key, you can switch the input method language.
  3. Long press the * key, you can switch the input mode and switch among “123, abc, Abc, ABC, T12abc, T12Abc, T12ABC, Emoticons”.

Main Menu & Its Functions

Select to enter the main menu. Allows you to view a list of features available on your phone.

  1. Phone: Allows you to make quick outgoing calls.
  2. Call History: View your call history.
  3. Contacts: To see your list of Contacts. Access phonebook through this function.
  4. Messaging: Allows you to view messages sent & received as a thread.
  5. Music: View the list of songs available on your phone.
  6. Browse: Browse the internet.
  7. Camera: Allows you to click pictures & video anytime you want.
  8. Gallery: Allows you to view photos & videos in folders.
  9. Settings: Modify settings under various categories like Network & internet, Connected devices, Battery, Sound, Display, Accessibility, Security, Location, Safety & emergency, System, and About phone.
  10. Clock: After entering Clock, move right to set Alarm.
  11. Calculator: This function can turn your phone into a calculator for simple calculations.
  12. SIM Toolkit: This service is provided by the operator. It provides many types of personalized message services.
  13. Sound Recorder: Allows you to record sounds.
  14. FM Radio: You can listen to various radio stations.
  15. Calendar: View the calendar.
  16. File Manager: You can view your files.

Wi-Fi

F31 supports Wi-Fi which allows you to connect with a Wireless connection. This is useful for surfing the internet on the phone.

Enter “Settings” interface & search WIRELESS & NETWORKS. Select the network you want to connect.

Taking Care of Your Device

Your device is a product of superior design and craftsmanship and should be handled with care. The following suggestions will help you protect your phone:

  1. Always keep the small parts of the phone away from children.
  2. Keep the device dry. Precipitation, humidity, and all types of liquids or moisture can contain minerals that will rust electronic circuits. If your device does get wet, remove the battery, and allow the device to dry completely before replacing it.
  3. Do not use or store the device in dusty, dirty areas. Its moving parts and electronic components can be damaged.
  4. Do not store the device in high or cold temperatures. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices and damage batteries.
  5. Do not attempt to open the device other than as instructed in this guide.
  6. Do not drop, knock, or shake the device. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards and fine mechanics.
  7. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the device. Only use a soft, clean, dry cloth to clean the surface of the device.
  8. Do not paint the device. Paint can clog the moving parts and prevent proper operation.
